Ajay Kaul joined Everstone Group in August, 2017, as a Senior Director to support growth in the quick service restaurant (QSR) business of its food platform, F&B Asia. Ajay is a food and beverage (F&B) industry veteran and the former chief executive officer of Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (the parent company of Domino’s Pizza India and Dunkin’ Donuts India). He has spent more than a decade in the F&B industry, during which he took Domino’s in India to become the largest market for Domino’s outside of the US. Ajay’s overall work experience spans almost 28 years, including at American Express and TNT India and Indonesia where he had business leadership roles. Kaul is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi(IIT D) and XLRI Jamshedpur.
Ajay Macaden is an Executive Director with Nielsen India and leads the company’s Retailer Vertical and Industry Practice Groups for Telecom, Auto, Infrastructure and BFSI sectors. He is also the South Head of Nielsen and holds additional responsibility for the Sri Lanka business. Prior to this role, Ajay used to lead India’s Retail Measurement Services for West region. With nearly two decades of experience across research, media and advertising, of which, the last decade has been with Nielsen, Ajay played a leadership role in several core Nielsen businesses across Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore, where he is currently based. Before joining Nielsen, he used to work with IMRB. Given the diversity of his experience, Ajay has been part of several panels and has presented at multiple industry forums and oft quoted in the media. A keen observer of consumer behaviour and industry trends, Ajay is passionate about technology, education and talent advancement.
Abheek Singhi leads BCG’s Consumer and Retail practice in Asia Pacific and in India. Having worked with clients in emerging markets like India, China, South East Asia and Middle East in addition to US and Canada for more than 17 years, Abheek has experience with clients in the private, public and government sectors on issues related to strategy, operational excellence and organizational improvement. Amitabh Taneja, Chairman & Managing Director and editor-in-chief, Images Group, has been working for over two decades now to modernize and expand the Indian retail market and build informed consumerism in India. He is also the founding director of the Shopping Centres Association of India and the Fashion Alliance India.
